    Thanks Paul, I did actually take the same shot several times with different apertures. This was the first time I'd gone out specifically to try and get some landscape shots and I really didn't know what I was doing (and still don't). However, when I got to look at the shots when I got home the f2.8 shot was the better one. I wouldn't have thought a wide aperture such as f2.8 would be ideal for landscape shots but it seemed to work on that one at least.
