Another jem technique from the Digital Photo mag, care of Gavin Hoey. Just import your photo, then.
Image-Rotate-180 degrees.
Filter-Destort-Polar Coordinates, choosing Rectangular to Polar.
Then use the Clone stamp tool to edit the joins and tidy up the immage.
Just thought it was great fun.
I use Adobe Elements 6

Tried this myself having just bought the mag but with less sucessful results. So dependant on the right image I have found.

Hi Bill, How ya doin? I get the same mag but I must have missed this tecnique. On saying that I havent looked at the last 2 properly yet. for some reason the discs wont play on my pc!the fault lays within my pc and not the discs as they seem to play ok on my sons machine Sad so I have to try and figure what has gone wrong.I love the tutorials they give! anyway ... back to this shot ... a very interesting one it is too, a brilliant effect! Perhaps if I follow your instructions there I might have a bash myself. well done on this. Hope all is well with you and your family! Take care Click*
