A bridge to far

By ellavr
The title from the famous WWII movie about a bridge in the Netherlands. Suggested by Mike who said I have done too many red bridges!!

By popular demand I have posted an image with the full railings and the full bridge. There is a lot going on on the other side, but I didn't clone it all out this time - a slight blur, with the removal of a table, an umbrella and some plants.

Please check out the other two and tell me which one you prefer. I think I prefer the original, it is tight and focussed on the colour of the bridge, but always like to please everyone! However hard that may be!!! :o)

10/10 for persistence, Ella! Great shot. You could have centred that plant in the bg (he,he,he!). Click

It works better on here that the last because the size gives more impact. Perhaps you should get rid of the yucca(?) right in the middle on this one.

Like this Ella but prefer yesterdays, don't ask me why, maybe because the background isn't so 'busy'

Another great shot *click*

I clicked on the last two, Ella, but this is definitely my favourite. Funnily enough I thought the windows were a bit intrusive in the last one, but not in this.

Thanks Nigel, I thought life was just too short to clone out all the bg.

Thanks Suey and Jan, it seems the most popular.

Thanks Jim, the windows were a bit dark in the 2nd one I think. Not natural looking.

I bet everyone is sick of all that red. I will try for something a little different tomorrow. :o)

Add my vote to the many: this one! But, I for one, like the plants in the BG - feel it gives it a more natural feel, so its not just the full set of railings! √ΜΛЯΚ
