RUGGED ROCKS.

By EMJAYCEE
These rocky outcrops are below Dunnottar Castle and abound with bird life. This is the best best I could do with the equipment I have but I was pleased so you must suffer!!!
A big Thank You to Brian 65 for the UA - made my day.Smile Also my thanks to everyone who spares me a little time, your c/c's are much appreciated. J.

Looks a bit dangerous for small craft, Joan, well captured. Carol

If you come up this way again, I'll take you climbing among the seabirds 2 miles down the coast. The walls of the cliffs are just heaving with them. Then if you feel energetic, we could go diving to some of the wrecks offshore with the sub aqua club WinkGrin. Just kidding Joan, you can stand up again. True about the birds and wrecks, but I ain't climbing any cliffs or diving to wrecks. A beautiful dramatic piece of coastline here. Did you by any chance venture to St Cyrus beach about 8 miles south of Dunnotar?

Could you imagine being off those rocks in a rough high tide, I think I would rather be where you were which is a great view point. - gary

Terra firma for me. Not much point in putting your tripod up in a boat!!

Nothing wrong with a Canon EOS 600D - I've only got EOS450D.
I'm surprised you seem to use jpeg and not RAW. Is that normal for you?
Anyway you've got good images of those awesome rocks.
You'd need a very long lens to capture the birds up close.
