I've never seen one, let alone photograph it! Well spotted and caught!

This is a lovely clear image. All my pics of dippers never turn out. They are always too fast for me, I usually get the rock! Moira

Thanks for the comments. Moira, I waited about half an hour to get this photo as when I got to the spot, he flew away. He or she then flew back after a woman, who was running, flushed it out. This little guy was very obliging. They are very nice little birds
