This picture of Katharine was captured in a moment of quiet time just before she left for the church. To prevent her veil from acting as a reflector with flash, only natural light was used. With windows behind, the image was over-exposed to blow the outside & therefore remove garden features and prevent Katharine becoming a silhouette (compensated for with a higher ISO), manually focused on her eye and a sufficient depth of field to allow her features to remain in focus. A close crop was used to keep the image free distraction and sepia to simplify the image.
