Stob Dearg Light

By Emu72
At Last. . .

I visit Glencoe for the 5th time, and at last I have good light!! 5 days of it to be precise and over 1000 raw files to play with Smile

This is the first in a long line that I think have potential. This shot was on my last day, Easter Sunday, it was -8 in the Glen.

The previous morning sunrise was that good on Rannoch Moor that I opted for the 'done a million times' shot of the Bookle. . . .

Thanks for looking.

Cracking capture Tim. Lovely light on the summit and that foreground ice tops it off. Have my award with pleasure

This is amazing Grin. I like the mountain, but a crop with just the rocks and ice would work wonderfully as well GrinGrin

The lead in off the ice is superb as well as being exceptional FG interest in its own right. The angular nature of the ice compliments the triangular shape of the peak. I'd say 5 trips were worth it for this, let alone the other 999 files...! Grin
