African Story Telling

By Endangered
One evening on our safari we invited a group of dancers round from a local village. They were great. We were in the middle of the bush with nothing but wildlife around for miles and miles. Sitting on the deck next to the oliphants river, these guys danced and told stories for hours. The only light was a spot light from a torch which was fading fast when this was taken. This is where high ISO ability really came in to play. My Nikon D3 was being used to the max.

Any comments welcomed. The reason for the leopard print clothes is that he was being a leopard in his story.

for the low light you mention you have picked up the detail very well I would imagine a little scary in the bush with a torch and wildlife all around but a great memory to behold

I bet it was an amazing sight and wonderful experience to hear the stories. Strong mono portrait here Andy, love his pose and the light.
