Lanterns Camera Action!

By EnglishRose
Saw this along the Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong. Thought the title was fitting of the image.

Yeah, I see what you mena now - and it's really starting to bug me. I think I need to do classes in this.

When I get my computer back in action, I'll give you some pointers. Smile
Only problem with straightening the background would be the lanterns going askew in the front. Just a thought...

I like this - I wondered about the horizon too, but if there's a reason to leave it like this, like the lanterns, then leave it.

I know that when I was framing it, I intentionally wanted the lanterns straight across the top - didn't really look at the horizon though - oops!

Great shot, very striking image with lots of possibilities.

You could always straighten the horizon and then dm the lanterns straight as well Wink

Looking forward to seeing the repost.

Fab capture, I looked at this for ages! I've got some pics, with similar problems, two lots of horizons almost! I'd have a go at what John's recommending, worth a try.

Having said that, this is so fab on its own! I like the colours too!
