Sand Lizard

By eosdpete
I think this is a Sand Lizard but if you think different then let me know,

It was taken a few weeks ago at Elstead Moat in surrey,
there was a male amd female together but they were to deep in the vegitation and very quick to move away when i got to close,

but i was very pleased with this shot of the Male, only wish it could have been without the stick but thats wildlife for you,

hope you like it and please all comments are very welcome,
Thanks.

A good capture Pete, as you say these are very difficult to see let along catch on camera. John.
