Dartmouth Shadows

By Ericsamson
Many thanks to all for the views, votes and comments in response to 'Lady Chatterley's View ...'; all much appreciated! SmileSmileSmile

A quick Saturday Shadows upload for today while I grab a cuppa and head off to the shed. It's a view of a part of Dartmouth Harbour as seen through some fortifications at the edge of the town.

All the very best for the rest of the weekend, Graham. SmileSmileSmile

The fortifications I prefer are taken internally in liquid form...but having said that, these are certainly finely fortified fortifications...
Enjoy your weekend shed sojourn.

I like the framing used, which concentrates the interest on the sea view and also give us very black shadows. Well conceived and taken.

Lovely shot with the sunlight bouncing nicely off the water and giving the trees a lovely depth.

Only possible though because Fred Flintstone left his front door open.

Yep, great view point, lovely light and interesting shadows, Graham.
And, of course, a lovely scene.

A very lovely part of the world - my last visit there being back in June last year. Very nicely framed here by the fortifications, Graham 👍

The ideal position from which to shout hearty insults at passing matelots before dodging back out of sight, or do the same but in falseto voice then indicate in mock shocked manner to the floating and now irate, that said insult came from the adjacent Nun.

Where's Matron, I think I need my medication.Blush
