Between the lines 2

By mrswoolybill
Textures, lines and a photographer. At the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield.
I should have mentioned yesterday that we met up with TrevBatWCC for lunch at the Gallery. See another side to the day here...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

My first thought was of a giant boot about to push him from behind!
The lines make it look as if he is inside a giant bird cage.

Left eye dominant. Unusual. He'd hate my Fuji.

The 'boot' is a distraction but I couldn't avoid it. But I was looking for the cage effect...

So am I. It does play a significant part in my choice of cameras.

I like this very much Moira. A very appealing series of yours.
At first I thought it was Dustin Hoffman Smile

If only... Thanks for the UA, John, and thanks to all the early birds here.

Love the composition and the rather abstract quality. The big boot thingy - or objet d'art - (whatever!) works for me! A great shot, well observed and timed. SmileSmileSmile

I think the boot adds interest rather than distract. A most unusual portrait which works well.
