Mushroom Magic

These two small mushrooms were on a fallen beech tree. I shot from low down with the lens wide open at f2.8 to create the circular bokeh. I had to take multiple shots to get both mushrooms completely sharp. I was surprised to find a dead aphid on the big mushroom when the pictures were focus stacked.

This is probably my favourite of your mushroom pics to date. Love the positioning of that circular bokeh. Looking forward to more mushrooms now that we've had some long awaited rain.
