Mixed messages here Tony.
As soon as I saw the hotel I thought of your Copenhagen trip.
At the same time I thought that's a typical Venice square,

Thankfully your tags cleared up the conundrum.

Very nice and once again tickling my taste buds for nine days time Smile

The magnetic pull of Hotel Scandinavia. Is that where it's at?

The glow from the bar acting like a magnet, drawing people in from the cold. Love this.

Two determined looking figures. A case of 'last one through the door gets the drinks in'?
Yur images using low pov are very effective, Zen...must remember to try it myself, next time I am allowed out on my own.

I llike the low POV and the light reflected in the wet paving. Everything drawing the viewer towards the welcoming lights of the hotel.

I can only reiterate the above; that low pov and the silhouettes against the suggested warmth of the venue is enticing. I do like the soft, diffuse glow around the light sources, and wonder if you've used a filter to achieve this?

It is done in the processing Allan. I just think it adds to the main elements of the image to defocus slightly around the edge.

Very atmospheric, with the hotel lights drawing like a magnet to the hotel door! Nice reflection on the slabs as well, with impeccable mono tones, Tony

Well what can I say - the perfect Tony!

I shall refrain from commenting on the earworm... You used up all the asterisks on mine! 😉😉

I do actually like a bit of Frank! 😊

I can picture you laying back in a lounge chair to get low and waiting for passers by. Lovely glow on the bricks. Very very good image Tony.

Might be worth listening to Pieman and Furuncle singing their moving ballad 'Trouble Over Bridgewater.' It certainly moved me. Just waiting for the Imodium to kick in. 🥴
You simply must have one of these. 🏆
