Getting The Bird: How To Photograph Birds With Long Telephoto Lenses

Swan Box

By Fefe
Taken last October, same swan as Naws , and while I am at it, the colour version of 'Naws' in Version 1, I promised to upload at some point and never got around to it.
The lead is quite a big crop and a slight rotate to get a full frame of swan, I hope you like the set.

Massive thank you to everyone for the response to my Sparrow hawk image last week, really appreciated!

I had some trouble with your crop until I saw the version (which I like very much). Understood it all then!

I like both, Diane. the lead for its originality of composition and the version for the light and colour. Though I must admit to preferring the clean whites of the earlier B&W upload; comparing it with the colour one, perhaps a tiny bit of burning in on the throat to bring out the detail.
