Kept the detail in the black really well and the catch light in the eye. Lovely shot.

Absolutely stunning Andy.
I guess rain on the window has limited appeal and pretty boring to shoot. So PC time is a great way to spend a rainy day.

Very Nice shot Andy.
As usual.
I've just returned from a week on the Pembrokeshire coast, my first visit, and have to admit I'm a little envious. you are in the perfect location for wildlife. We saw Peregrines in relatively close proximity around Strumble head. Stunning scenery.

I love the feather symmetry.

Darters in Wheel

Darters in Wheel by BydoR9

This is the best shot of these I've ever seen. It's not just the clarity and sharpness, it's the stem of weat and soft backdrop that really gives it stunning status. So very good.

Nice set Mick.

These are such difficult birds to photograph. They don't stay still for a moment, constantly flitting about, most often in the shade. Superb shot well done.

Sopley by OliPackwood

Thanks for the comments on my River Pic.
The path from the road down to the sewer boom in your picture. If you get there very early and get up on the left bank about half way down you will see loads of Rabbits. Stay quiet and take it slow with the 300mm in good sunlight and you may get a decent Rabbit shot. They are a bit skittish, and a tripod or at least a monopod would make a huge difference. Give it a go.

Worth the awards. Nice one Mick.

Treecreeper by JonnyNI

I have tried for so long to grab one of these. This is a stunning capture of such a difficult subject. They just flit around mainly on the shadow side of the tree. Well done catch light as well to top it off.

A worthy winner. 10 for sure.
