The Scallop Aldeburgh Beach

By essexdean
The Scallop Aldeburgh beach, Suffolk.
From the front side on, the edge of the main shell is pierced with the words, "I hear those voices that will not be drowned", taken from Benjamin Britten's opera Peter Grimes.

The sun was rising so I had to take it from this angle as I felt the colour was stunning.

Feedback welcome.

Thanks

Dean

My children love climbing on this shell. It is very difficult to get a good shot of it without anybody on it or near it. The lighting is lovely, a great shot!
