I don't know if it is supposed to, but this has really cheered a fed up under the weather gal. I really like the brightness and somehow the poppies are telling me to follow over the hill (dune)and far, far away, all will be well. The light movement just brings - well light I guess. And we all need a little light now and again.
I like seeing it that way so that is how it stays my head.
I really do like this one Dave - for its message to me and the wonderfully executed work x

Wonderfully involving imagery and superbly crafted as allways Dave. The crazy blend of ice and fire on the horizon works blisteringly well for reasons I can't begin to understand. For me though the star trails aren't adding anything and only serve to pull my eye out of the glorious bottom two thirds. A much better pic without them IMHO.

Eric , thats just the sort of artistic dilemma I was struggling with , good critique.
But,
Its trying to be a vision of harmony , I was zoned into its reason with the music playing loud , and the trails just seemed to orchestrate the landscape beneath , conducting the light and breaking rules , staccato light yet flowing rhythm Wave your hand and be a conductor with the music, it well works. !

The music and landscape fit like hand and glove Dave, beautiful the both of them.
Regarding the star trails then I think the image needs something up in the sky for balance if nothing else. In that respect they do a good job and funny but for me they don't pull my eye as would a single point of focus.
The crab thing does'nt sit right for me. Can't see how it fits in but then again I'm a little too blinkered at times to fully appreciate what you're trying to say.

see the lady di has contributed some fairy magic to lighten the way to armageddon. The drama in the music doesnt reach the crescendo that the image leads me towards.the image, visually ,benefits from being somewhat brighter than of late though the underlying message still seems one of dark disaster.Take care lad and its still a wonderfull world.
