Feels so sad this image Dave, but a memory that lingers on for a reason. Quality work as always mate.

Funny but I can't think of anything deep or meaningful to say .... the image I like though. Well worked and quite poignant.

Brilliantly done Dave.......had nightmares about dolls faces as a child and this relates...disturbing.

This is the best 'doll 'picture I have seen, sometimes they can be somehow seedy.
This evokes memories of past times, better days perhaps.
I'd love to try something like this myself.

I love that texture. The toys look as if they're in another world, separated by just a thin plasma.

Once upon a time
Not so long ago
There was a little girl and her name was Emily
And she had a shop

There it is
It was rather an unusual shop because it didn't sell anything
You see, everything in that shop window was a thing that somebody had once lost
And Emily had found
And brought home to Bagpuss
Emily's cat Bagpuss
The most Important
The most Beautiful
The most Magical
Saggy old cloth cat in the whole wide world....

Bagpuss, dear Bagpuss
Old fat furry cat-puss
Wake up and look at this thing that I bring
Wake up, be bright
Be golden and light
Bagpuss, Oh hear what I sing...

Ahh childhood longing.

I actually find these type of images real creepy, its the porcelain doll thing and your treatment just adds to the atmosphere of unease.
Have a great weekend and thanks for the PM appriciated.

It is that unnerving collective gaze of all three toys that clinched this for me

Accusatory... indeed. If toys could talk, what they could tell us of our secret childhoods... what unspoken fears they could explain. Perhaps that is why we keep them - or why we abandon them.

There's something very ghostly about this that makes me feel cold... maybe its the silent stares... I agree with Dianah... your work is becoming addictive Wink
