Love the textures in the boulders and wet sand leading on to the flurry of breaking waves and silky colours of the horizon.

I knew the location just from the thumbnail without needing to read the title - despite never having been there!

It's all down to Andrew Nadolski, of course, whose images of this beach are currently being showcased in OP.

Have to say, I'm not a fan of his 'low contrast for everything' approach and this shot shows why. Much better than most of his stuff, to be honest.

Beautiful all around. Good rich colours on the rock, a nice shine on the water, and just enough light to make it work. good timing on the wave too, just to add a little more motion and drama ....

I don't see why people should think Andrew Nadolski should have a monopoly on this place. This is very different from his images and is every bit as impressive imo.
