That's incredible, I don't know how you get it so clear and sharp!

    Thanks for the comments!

Vicky - thanks for the useful info. It was quite dark and I was rushing a bit and so shot at a really low f-stop... you're right - the shirt isn't in focus enough! (not so obvious on the onscreen preview, but is now it's larger). I'll have a play with some slightly stronger contrast but I have to be careful to not overdo it!

Techno & Baileys - many thanks Smile

Thanks Jeff, Peter & Lynne. It was such good fun Smile

Lynne - it's a shame about the head shadow though!

Hi Ronnie - thanks for the useful feedback. I had set the shutter speed at 1/125 which was a big mistake and didn't quite feel I had the chance to really get the settings (for exposure etc) right. Practice definitely will help here Smile

Thanks Debs Smile Yes, I know what you mean!

That's very impressive. I'm not a big fan anymore (I used to be!) of over manipulation but I would never ever have guessed without you showing the before and after (in fact I thought they were different frames at first).

  • Hi Jill

I was just discussing your photos with someone, and we both agreed it was impossible to write anything about them, and I've just worked out why.

The images have such a depth and impact that anything in words seems superficial. It is very obvious that with your images you capture something that cannot be written down - and there are very few photos that do that for me.

I hope all is well. Best wishes from here.
