A waterdrop photo i uploaded yesterday in a new format.. The older one here looks brilliant when you see it a lot bigger but doesn't suit the ephotozine size restrictions... This is just cropped from that with a bit more contrast...

I feel that I must be the guilty party! Only fair that I comment on this one two - not that its an onerous task or anything! J I agree with you that what looks great printed and large-scale may not always suit the EPZ size and format - although e2 is addressing some of that. I think that this crop does look better as does the increased contrast although I might also suggest darkening the image just a bit. At the moment, the brilliant splash is almost lost in the surrounding blue. If you could knock back the blue and keep the white of the splash (using levels) I think you would like the difference!

lol for some reason at the moment everything i do is always a levels problem... i know its always a personal thing but when some1 suggests it and i go and do it i always think to myself that i must have been mad to not adjust them more in the first place....

cheers,

I like this photo alot. It might be nice if there were somthing else in the backround, but the capture is great. Thanks for your comment on my dried flower, I try not to take centered pictures to often, that one just worked out like that.
