Love the way the shovel echos the shape of the brush. Well observed. Si

Every time I see a brush John,I think of Trigger in Only Fools and Horses,
when he announced he had the same brush for 20 years, and only changed the handle seven times
and the head 10 times !!
A good pairing here.
Mick.

Being a simple soul, I like very much apparently simple shots like this. Not so easy to spot, though. Plenty of interesting texture, and also colourful algae/moss.

Quote:They go together like salt and pepper, milk and sugar, Bill and Moira, brush and shovel...

... hammer and tongs, which we also saw...
What struck me here was the wear and tear on the brush.
Thanks for your excellent company. We must repeat the exercise some time.

I have a feeling that Laurel and Hardy belong in the mix somehow. For myself, I possess Stan's height and Ollie's girth . . . . Wink

Very well seen, John, you beat us to this one fair and square. Such (apparently) straightforward images say so much with so little.

I hope you can handle my making a sweeping statement - they make a perfectly dignified pair. They should stick together like this and come out of the toolshed more often.

Amazing that something so everyday can make such a fine image.
