Backstreets of India

By Ezo
India is full of surprises, just take a walk through the back streets of any village, town or city and you will see what I mean! Life is mostly lived outdoors.
This particularly gritty backstreet around Jaipur's bazaar area was buzzing with life as narrow as it was...
In the background is a woman cooking on an open fire a recently slaughtered goat, beside her are half a dozen other kid goats eating their lunch, I wondered who would be next, seems like the goats weren't thinking too much about such trivialities, too busy filling their own stomachs!

You're right Sandy,
how lucky we are and how tough the life is not only in India but in so many other parts of the world, namely the less developed, funny how the people have much less but in some ways seem to have a richer more fulfilling life and appear to be happy, in general of course.
