A quick view of f1reblade99's recent activity.

  • Boxing K2 Crawley

It is certainly a challenging shot, point taken about expression slightly annoying the opponent had his hands covering his face as I am sure there would have been a facial expression to be seen.
ISO on 1DX is awesome, I thought the Mk4 was good, I have used 56k and it is still workable!

  • Into the shadows...

would have preferred a cropped image, too much else to look at but focus and exposure seems good...

exposure good, however, personally I would have been tighter into the bikes. Too much background for my liking, but just my opinion.

Walter thanks for the comments, rather pleased with the shot, I have to say!

nice capture, call me picky but I'd say that the beak and eyes were just out of focus and the breast was the focal point.

We all love the 2.8 effect but I do wonder sometimes if f4 is often more appropriate.

    Agree with Mary's comments.

hi, for a first attempt it isn't bad but KMR has made a lot of valid points. I don't normally use tripod but generally take 4 or 5 shots with plenty of overlap, making sure the exposure is not changed and that there is plenty of subject matter in the foreground and background. I also merge the pictures when they are still raw files in photo shop, which still gives you control afterwards before you convert to a Tiff of JPG. I'm by no means perfect but have uploaded a couple on here so have a look in my portfolio and ask anything you like.
