Having been to Blair Atholl Horse Trials earlier this year, I salute you
for this image. So well focused on horse and rider - caught at height of the jump
and not much clutter in image to distract for your subject.
Your wife should be pleased.

P.S. What was the thinking behind using the polariser in this image?
Was it to enhance the sky colour? Just curious?

Thanks Kate,you can get a little closer to the action at the smaller events,the shot was taken at right angles to the sun so the polariser was at its most effective,I find it gives the sky a bit more punch both with the colour and cloud definition and it helps remove the glare of the sun on things like the face and the numnahSmile
