Have not had the chance to get out recently so this is a very similar upload of Swanage old pier to a few weeks ago.I changed the sky and toned using nik silver efex......have a fab weekend
Digital monochrome at its best
Makes me want to get out my Cambo 5"x4"...
So, thank you! And it's a wonderful shot.
Love the movement in the sky and the comp and square format work really well. Looks a bit bright though on my screen, I would have liked a darker, moodier one to compare....but still great work and one I like....a lot!
Thanks everyone....i agree Martin i wandered if the mid section was a bit bright, thanks
Yes the darker V2 has the edge.
Excellent mono image.
v2 for me. The cloud movement is excellent, a wonderful focussing tool for the viewer.
Superb, Jeremy and v2 for me too. The darker sky holds the frame together a bit better than v1 imo.
Explosive !! Jeremy and mono !!
Fantastic silk like exposure, stunning mono.
Love the composition, long exposure and composition spot on
Ron's right - it's like an explosion of light! Beautifully taken - and v2 has the edge for me too.
Beautiful and magical
Sosimple,so beautiful. Very elegant B&W. Like the speedy affects in the clouds giving it a touch of creative edit. Nice work.
Iconic and magnificent Jeremy, love it!
Great location and you have done it justice Jeremy. I like the toning but agree that dropping the mid tone was a positive mood. Superb!
Avery nice set of B&W photos. For me I like number 2.
First rate--- a breathtaking image. And yes, I think version 2 takes it by a whisker.
