I doff my cap - its bloody difficult to get a composition that works in such a wood. Here your use of dof cleverly complements the composition, and there is a wonderful clarity to the fg. The image immediately takes me into the wood and I can feel its age and atmosphere.
Beautiful light, colours and clarity. I almost feel like I'm there. I must go some time. Grin

Many thanks Adam , Geraint and Phil for your generous awards, I got lucky that morning with the mist . Phil you tend to get misty conditions there at the beginning of November and the leaves are turning lovely colours

Ah! I was here last Sunday with friends & dogs, less my camera - I am eager to return and see it through the lens, not an easy place to compose a photograph, well made!
