I like this effect and wait to compare with the colour. In the meantime this gets a thumbs up from me.

A great subject and a very well-executed photo, with beautiful tones - and it wouldn't be the same without those reeds, adding a different type of blur and complementing the clouds perfectly.

Really like this Jeremy. I tried something similar with dead tree but it didnt work nearly as well as this.

Top notch mono with great tones in that windmill.
Love the movement in the grass.
Would also like to see same image with a bit more detail in the grass.

Amazing result from the long exposure, this is what the 10 stop filter was meant for. Beautifully done, Bill.

Exquisite, Jeremy! The deceptive simplicity really suits the mono treatment. Love the flowing grass and sky which help the crisp windmill stand out even more. The light has really picked out the sails. Highly deserving of it's GE award and then some! Smile

Like the movement that the big stopper gives the reeds a very different foreground than you normally see.
Good one
Congrats on the GEA
