Theres nothing wrong with this shot, - and dont think that clicks are a measure of your success, or the quality of an image.

Its an image that can be overlooked as it doesnt pop out from the rest, - and if its a scene that often uploaded, it will be judged against others that may be more attractive.

I have a couple of suggestions in my mod.

First, its a very nice scene, with good monotone conversion, but it lacks drama, and theres a lot possible with those dark clouds that you can improve by darkening using curves.

Next is the composition, - its a pano format and can look better with some more height to conform to a 10X8 format, - which also helps with the drama.

It can be a lot sharper, - Ive done this in the mod.

The bright areas in the water and sky are, - for me, a tad too bright, and can be toned down a little, - it adds some depth to the image.

Finally, - try a different frame, - simple is best imo, and I think the drop shadow frame is a bit cliche'd and not currently "fashionable"

Hope this helps, - and remember, dont judge your work by clicks. I was on this site for 2 years before I got 30 clicks, - and some of the shots I feel are my best havent made 30 ever.

regards

I don't think there's any more to be said, Lee. Your portfolio is an absolute joy to trawl through. I really like your reflection shots that are in colour, not being too keen on mono, and that might be one reason for the lack of response from other like-minded members. I think it has quality, and it's just unfortunate that it got so overlooked.

I dont do landscapes as i'm into birds and wildlife, but if did, then i would be very happy with this shot. Infact i looked at your pf and would be very happy with that also. Keep up the good work.

Jack.
