Female Red-billed Leiothrix (Leiothrix lutea)

By FeatherFriend
Following on from my previous upload, I'm pretty sure that this is the Female Red-billed Leiothrix (Leiothrix lutea). At first, I thought it may be a juvenile but after checking on the web, I realise it can't be because the juvenile has a black beak. The females are somewhat duller than males, but neither sexes attain their full color until after the first moult. Hope I'm right.
May I thank you all for your votes and comments on my Male Red-billed Leiothrix (Leiothrix lutea) and also a big thank you to 'Boboson' and Nickyv32 for their User Awards for which I am extremely grateful.
Regards,
Geoff.

Yes Richard, I'm pretty sure it's going through the moult stage, most of them have only been hatched during the last month or so I believe.

Hi Saig, The females are somewhat duller than males (not so colorful). Both sexes are born with black beaks (juvenile) and develop full colour after the 1st moult.
