I will try and remember a visit to Paignton Zoo this looks most interesting as a place to visit, definitely a different image from you today but a good one at that - think I might choose no.2 but both are exceptional

I went to see these the other day, and tried to get a decent shot. I got nothing at all as good as these. First class Geoff, were these through the glass?

The mouth is smiling but that eye definately has a glint of evil in it. I think I will surely stay this side of the fence!

Hi Tim, no ,they were not taken through the glass, I managed to get the camera over the top rail by leaning over.

I'm glad they've given them a new house they used to be in quite a small one when I lived down there, 1992/95.
It's amazing how well they blend in with the rocks. I love both versions, great colour and detail, beautifully captured,
