Cracking shot Barbara, I love the idea of a gardener wearing a top hat Smile I guess that's modern fashion!

Almost surreal and well captured, Barbara, the placement of the guy is perfect. The seem to use poles/totems frequently in memorials nowadays.

What a well composed image. This garden wouldn't appeal to me I fear. I guess anything goes when you're young and want to be noticed as modern, forward thinking and creative! Trying to work out how I'd be able to get into the flower borders to weed while wearing a hat of that sort too, though at least it might stop the local midgies getting into my hair and biting my scalp! Well composed, I suppose birds would love those lovely tall 'posts'. I am thinking how hard it would be to look after it!

Some modern 'art work' leaves me wondering too, Barbara, in fact most of it does: but a nicely captured shot as he contemplates his creation.

I like his style! Gardening in a top hat, so obvious when you think about it...
I like the masts too.
Lovely processing for the textures.

Charming and stylish. The tones are pretty good, too, especially the dark greens and purples in the f/g - nicely restrained. The combination of all the verticals almost makes one forget that the composition is horizontal Smile
Just like Albert, my first thought was that you had found a gardeneress!

I've come back again, this has to get my UA. There's something so English about the eccentricity, he could bea character in Alice in Wonderland.

I think I am very much the same as you with age and uncertainty of what is going on but the Woollybill's are always so very spot on with their comments and I sorta like the imageSmile

A wonderfully eccentric garden to sretch the imagination of the average 'lawn with flower borders' type. Beautifully composed and captured.

In fact my long dead aunt used to rush in to watch him!
Glad to see other members are trying to work it all out.
We all like to be cool and with it but sometimes it takes a leap of faith!
Well Barbara you've set a cat -sorry - I mean Hat among the pigeons!

Not my cup of tea Barbara, I much prefer the formal garden arrangement. I too thought it was a woman. Love Mikbee's comment. Congrats on three user awards.
