Padlock & chain

By franken
I was travelling on a local train with my wife on Thursday when I came across this.

We were sat at the front of the carriage. Opposite us was a set of ramps that's used for people in wheelchairs. The padlock and chain are securing them.

As we travelled along my attention was drawn to the shadows appearing and then disappearing so I got out my compact and waited to see if anything happens.

A few minutes later I was rewarded with this.

The green light is reflected off the carriage walls

I've cropped a bit off the bottom as it didn't do anything.

The only image I took all day.

Just the circumstances for which a compact is ideal. I have many days like that, the one-shot-only days.........
Well observed and very effective shot, excellent use of focus.

It seems that the image came to you, Ken. It's a great compo, well done. Have you tried a mono version? I think it would work beautifully in mono as well, IMHO.
