The Hideaway

This is a little row of cottages in Baslow Derbyshire on the edge of the grounds at Chatsworth.
I doubt the cottages will be seen from the thumbnail, they are very obscured by the trees.
This shot was taken on the dash back to the car...it was belting it down with rain.
I could tell the rain was on its way (again) while we were strolling around Chatsworth, but Mr Fefe was certain it would stay dry 🙄🙄
I will put up a version taken on the way in to Chatsworth when it was dry and the sun was out.
Personally I think I do like the rainy one more, so all was not lost.......

I like the colours better in the rainy one Diane, but each has it's merits, a really pretty place.
I hope Mr Fefe had an umbrella despite his opinion that it wouldn't rain Wink

I prefer the rainy one. The house is more hidden and it fits the title better.

I like both ,Diane. I do prefer the composition in the sunny one with the cottages slightly higher in the frame (guess you had more time), but also like the softer colour in the rain. So both win!
