Taken in wonderful sunlight, Diane, the sea can be very cruel, and is a force of nature to be respected at all times. Carol

As well as the damage to the structures, you have recorded the range of colours on the metal from green to deep red/brown so well, Albert.
And how well these contrast with the colours of the sand and sky.

Fabulously menacing, but it's the last stand.

A lovely image Albert !! I have great respect for the sea, having lived on the north Zululand coast for 11 years I came to know its amazing power Smile

If you ave not been back for a few years you wont recognise the place. The sea is really taking back the land.

"Defiant to the last". The image reminds me of the front ranks of a Roman Legion whilst standing firm in battle formation

Lovely rusty colours and a bit of a health hazard although long gone by now I suspect.

You've given them a lot of strength in your composition, whereas they probably have very littleTongue.

Fascinating Albert. I wonder why this row appears in such a ruinous state but the row in the Bg, which seems to be the same type of construction, looks almost complete ???? The oddities of the sea I suppose.

This is a very interesting shot for the metalic shapes and the gorgeous use of light. IB
