in the thumb the impression of a book is not visible and the light seems to form a heart also. So I would suggest to you to make another try with less book and a more pronounced light-heart. But for a first try it actually pretty good > alfred

Great idea and love the way the ring makes the heart shape!
I think the images of the people are a little distracting for me, my eyes keep moving away to them rather than the main subject (the ring).
