Another Aberant

From this morning. Another Chalkhill Blue missing half its spots. Seen several of these this year now.

This one was from another local site, west facing so much later emerging than all the other sites round here.

This was my backup plan after I failed with 2nd brood Small Blues and could just about make it to this site still for half an hour before work!

A really beautifully captured image, depicting this rather beautiful Chalk Hill, stunning natural colours, markings, and great detail throughout, emphasised greatly by the wonderful depth of field and warming light.
