Winter is way too long and seems to get longer every year! Sad

Memories of summer a couple of years back. A pristine Brimstone poses perfectly amongst the brambles whilst I waited (very patiently!) for the sun to come out - and hopefully with it Brown Hairstreaks!

What a beautiful and pristine looking specimen you've captured here. No doubt these will be amongst the first to be seen when the weather does eventually warm up and spring finally arrives

Composition of the butt is a bit centralised but otherwise this is as pristine an image as the butt itself! Pure class of a capture! Incidentally, Brimstone has already been recorded in our County - 6th Jan!
