The sign of a damp summer!

The Silver Studded Blue season has not been a good one for me. My favourite site is swarming with hundreds of Mosquitoes this year and I had to abandon it and explore other new sites as I just had enough of them. Midges in Scotland are childs play compared to these!

It was quite apt that one of the buggers landed as I took this shot. Not the sharpest but at 600 pixels I can just about get away with it. Camera shake was induced mostly by me swatting the 50 or so mozzies that were feasting on me at the time!!

You too eh, little b****** have have me more times than I care to mention this year.......And I always get an allergic reaction to the damn things, horseflies have been bad too....
