A quick view of flaggy's recent activity.

  • Beachcombers

The main issue I see here is, although you cant see the horizon, the whole scene is sloping down to the right. The buildings look like they are falling over. I've quickly done a mod to alter this and am trying to upload it.

  • Mosaic

    Certainly a stunning mosaic.

The main issue I see here isn't really your fault. Isn't correctable either without re-shooting. It's a symptom of compact cameras as opposed to SLRs. But the centre line is a tiny bit out. Yeah a tiny bit but that bit makes a lot of difference in my opinion.

What might have been nice is something contrastingly soft in the image. Something that also added scale.

    Great effort though.

  • Infinate Beauty

I'm a bit late on this one, been off ephotozine for a while.

Essentially, for me, this is just an image of a boob. At first glance I thought it belonged to someone with an alien like tummy area until I read people asking about the "effect".

Might be wrong but it looks like the clone stamp tool in Photoshop.

My advice is before applying an effect ask why, and what will it bring to the image.

  • Eggs

Nice clean shot well thought out appart from one thing.
    The Teletubbies egg cup!
The plate is a nice stylish simple design. Was the egg cup plain on the other side? The shape of the cup is classic and in plain white would have worked well.

The muted yellow background is wonderful.

  • grand canyon

I agree with the above. Why go all the way to the Grand Canyon then photograph some trees? We have trees everywhere.

  • Harley at the Angel

As Angel pics go, I havn't seen much better.
Personally I think the bike and figure takes away from the pic. It's far too small to be of any significance to the picture.
