I'm not sure what your motivation is for taking this shot....???

I think you need to think about the shot before you take it...access compositionally how the subject will fit in the frame and how you can achieve the finished shot you are after.....sorry to be harsh but this is an out of focus shot of a robin that you can't see cos it has a mass of twigs across the this what you were after???

Looking through your other shots you have put a lot more thought into, you must know you are capable of more.....and can be much more creative in your your shot 'Fishing Boats In Fleatwood Docks'.

This would need to be a lot sharper. Perhaps you can sharpen the re sized image a little more.

A compact camera may have some trouble getting focused on the bird amongst the branches, and its done reasonable well, but wont compete with DSLR for this type of shot.

the shot was taken as i walked passed .no time to focus,frame or set the camera. just spotted the robin as it settled in . so hence the title. the camera i use is a bridge camera not a compact.
