Between The Shadows

By Fletcher8
This image of Alex came about by chance and having to think on my feet. Last Sunday I had an equine shoot planned outdoors, but when I arrived the fields were water logged. Luckily, I was allowed to use part of the stables, so used the lights to create this image instead. Had to do a lot of thinking on my feet and overcame a few challenges. Certainly not my usual autumn portrait style, but I really like this image.

Shadow on the girls face is distracting but I like the picture.

bppowell, the shadow on the girls face was planned and part of the shot, but we all like different styles I guess. Thanks for taking the time to comment and vote.

Like it but personally might have gone for a portrait format.

Great mage for something done on the fly.
For me I would have liked a little rim light behind the rider.
However if I was put in this position and had think on the fly. I would not managed to get this great photo.
I like it a lot

TornadoTys. Valid point in relation to rim light. I did have another light, but as space was tight and had lighting placed out of the frame, I just thought, itís working so stick with. When I next get the opportunity and itís possible, I will add some rim light.
