Sisyrinchium

By flowerpower59
Thank you all those who commented, voted and awarded my last upload. Gratitude as ever. You are kind.
This is sisyrinchium angustifolium album, a little perennial grass-like thing that seeds around the garden. Each flower is maybe 1cm across. Taken in situ with a couple of texture layers added and removed more selectively than I would normally. I am hoping the combination of the more gentle treatment of the textures and the reduced depth of field make for a more painterly outcome Blush

Reckon you succeeded with the painterly effect Fiona, nice use of the textures.
The bg is possibly a tad heavy for the delicate little flowers IMHO though, maybe less dark greens, dunno...I'll try a mod Wink

On the mod, I reduced the vibrance a touch on the bg
Used a levels adjustment and brightened the whole frame.
Nothing drastic Wink
