Albert Dock Vista

By Focus_Man
My wife and I entertained a lady to lunch. She had attended my 'alma mater' until 1948 having been there during the war and was evacuated to Beaumaris to avoid the bombing of Liverpool. I started there in 1950. She featured a great deal in my book 'Memories of the Mid-20th Century (see my website for details). Since then whenever she visits Liverpool for 'retail therapy', we meet up for lunch.
On this occasion we met up at 'Gusto's' and this was the view that faced us as we left.

A nice image but not quite your usual quality. A strange slightly flat feeling to it? Just add a touch of contrast I think.

Your web site sounds interesting Frank, - will visit tomorrow.

I wont put money on it, but Ill bet you used Topaz on this?

I think its a nice scene, well shot. I think it does need a little more pop and contrast does give it a small lift that Paul may be referring to.

If its Topaz, you will know from other comments that Im not a fan, - you can do better without it IMO.

regards

Many thanks I will readdress it today. No Topaz on this one Willie, if I had I would have got more bite I think.
