Off-loading cargo into wagons

By Focus_Man
Usual run around the docks to see what was going on - not much when you consider how much movement there was when I used to do this over 50 years ago.

This is the 'Arklow Rival' being off-loaded with fertiliser. The cargo was only moving a few hundred yards away to then warehouse where it would be bagged ready for sale and delivery.

A fine record of an industrial action. The type of thing I often had to take in my stint as photographer in the steel industry. Not over exciting but had to be sharp an well ewposed as is your effort.

Sharp and well exposed. Not much else you can do with it as everything else is dictated by position, access and what is happening. Just the sort of image found in trade magazines and publicity literature.
I would like to have seen the cab of the lorry included, for completeness.

Thanks Nick, I do also have one including the cab, maybe I chose badly, but personally, I preferred this.

Not much to add, bar trying it in black and white.

I think the interest may be in the dumping of the material, in which case you hit the nail on the head. I can imagine a pretty good caption for this. But then, I am not an industrial photographer!
