Mad Mad World

Mad Mad World by lawrenceburrow

Good to see a fish-eye being used in street photography.

Think this is my favourite photo I have seen on EPZ for a while : found via the vs mode gallery.

I would agree with the above about exposure. I do like the composition but I might have waited for the car to leave the shot before taking. I like the sign at the end of the road.

DEAR JOHN (final print)

DEAR JOHN (final print) by keithh

Nice work - Was a toss up for me between the b/w version and this one. The title of Dear John made me think it was a letter from a women to a man - however the glass of whisky stopped me in my tracks - I don't associate whisky with a women (sexist I know). Was this a deliberate juxtaposition between the title and glass?

One of my all time favourite rally cars. I was lucky enough to visit the garage they built them in once and also the team I was involved with in the 80s/90s ran an ex-works 6R4 for a couple of seasons. One of the cars I felt the safest in and this is a great shot of it.

Landscapes are not my favourite area of photography but sometimes I see one I like. This is one of them. Why? Well its not over colour saturated and I think the composition works well with the fence and path meeting to then take me over the hills. If Id been on that path I am not sure I could have stopped walking until I reached that far peak.

I am unfortunately looking at you image on an un-calibrated monitor but even so it looks amazing. I think you have handled the glasses nicely enough reflection but still able to see the eye clearly. Really well processed and converted to B/W. Nice DoF with a clear point of focus. Ace shot.

Dusk... by kenp666

Lovely clean portrait - very well executed.

Very nice natural portrait.

I like the angle on this - nice opposite tilt to her head too.

Piter by papajedi

Really like this portrait - nicely processed with not too strong colours. There is a small brown mark behind the subjects head, natural wall marking I know, but I think I might have cloned it out. I am not keen on over shopping images but in this case I might have been tempted. Very nice work.

Really glad I found your PF. I really like you work a lot. If EPZ had more like you it would be a richer place.
