    This is a great shot and one you should be proud of. Personally I would have kept the grey sky and enhanced that for a really moody, threatening look. Ain't nothing wrong with moody.

    Thank you for the tip, reference the torch, Chase - the thought never occurred to me.

    I like your mod - that was the scene I had in my mind's eye and, yes, it was a very difficult shot and I can see how the use of torchlight would have given me far more opportunities regarding the aperture/ ISO combination.

    I think the colours are fine - the cool colours reflect both the day and the location.

    Next time you are faced with this problem, try taking a number of shots with and without the person/inf sign/both/different viewpoint-it's not going to cost you anything other than time.

    In other words, study the scene and decide what it is you want to see in your end product rather than thinking, 'Oh! that's nice'! CLICK!
    As it happens, I think the person is the better option.
