Edward Strong Esq.

By foggytwo
This is the tale of Eddy Strong.
An elderly gent was he.
He passed away aged eighty five.
The time was half past three.
Now Eddy`s sister, Wilma.
Arranged for his transfer.
To MacDougal the undertaker.
For his body to inter.
Wilma told the undertaker.
To be sure to clean his feet.
Eddy had a problem all his life.
A smell he could not defeat.
The headstone was duly ordered.
By his other sister Janet.
With written instructions from Eddy.
To purchase a nice wee piece of granite.
The arrangements were made for the funeral.
With words written on the headstone.
And Mr. Delaney, the funeral director.
Confirmed the date on his mobile phone.
They put Eddy away on a Monday.
With the words,"Gone but not fotgotten".
His sisters were sad and also quite glad.
Gone to, were his feet that were rotten.

A very humorous verse indeed Pete, I wonder if Edward Strong Esq was related to Count Arthur Strong?
