Holy Sh**, Dive, Dive, Dive.

By foggytwo
On a tour of the old ocean blue.
Captain Nimmo, for something to do.
Decided he and his men.
Should surface again.
For a well earned break for the crew.

As the sub hit the surface that day.
Captain Nimmo was then heard to say.
What sounded like big giant birds.
Swiftly followed by some swearwords.
So they dived and all sailed away.

I thank you.

Pray tell was that sub nuclear?
For I fear it was rather unclear.
You see, with a nuclear boat
Those birds shouldn't gloat
It will be fission not fish in their throat.

Boom boom!!!

Great fun Pete Wink

Thanks to all above for the comments, they are much appreciated.
Thanks for the verse Bruce and in return ...........

Nuclear Nimmo, yes that was his name.
This man was really not tame.
In fact as a child.
He was known to go wild.
Leading to his five minutes of fame.
Be it nuclear fission or fusion.
It certainly caused some confusion.
Problems that fateful day.
A torpedo going astray.
Brought on Nimmo`s coronary occlusion.
